A Quick Release for Stuck Energy

For this week’s Tranquility Thursday, I’m sharing a tapping practice that I find incredibly soothing. Check it out here. I learned it a few years ago from my brilliant friend Amy B. Scher, an author and energy therapist, and I’ve turned to it often ever since.
Use your fingertips to gently tap one temple and then the other. While tapping, repeat “I release my stress” (one word per tap), or simply the word “releasing.” You can do alternate temple tapping for as long or short as you want, but I feel a beneficial effect after about two minutes.
These are dark days. So many of us are walking around in perpetual anxiety. I hope this helps you, even briefly, to release what feels stuck inside you and handle whatever life throws your way.
